Every day, families in our community of Lincoln, NE are doing their best while facing real challenges. And nationwide, millions of children experience food insecurity, unsure where their next meal will come from. That’s why every act of care matters.
 
Whether it’s cooking a meal, sharing resources, or spreading the word, you’re helping strengthen the fabric of our community one small kindness at a time.

Hello, and thanks so much for wanting to learn more about Knitted Village. I'd love for you to get to know me just a bit – I'm a wife, mom of 2, and the heart behind Knitted Village. I have been wanting to find a way to bridge the gap between those needing and those wanting to build community for years.
 
I am so excited that you are here, interested in building this community with me! I also appreciate your patience as I mindfully respond to every email and match meal requests with volunteers.
 
A little kindness goes a long way—and sometimes that's dinner.
